“We are the product of our past. We start each day where we left off the day before. Transformation of the self requires a radical alteration in the way that we perceive the world and derive meaning.”

Background Information
TW: Mention and implication of suicide and drawing blood
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The Magnussons came from their Scandinavian ancestors who emigrated to the US around the 1870s. They owned acres of farmland in a rural area in the state of Utah, where they lived their life taking care of their farm. The Norwegian Americans produced their own varieties of plants and a small amount of dairy products, and sell them to bigger cities for an income that is just enough to cover a daily need of the family of four.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The family are extremely devoted Roman Catholics. They never miss Mass and would receive communion weekly at their church. Their good practice of religion and humble work resulted in two well-behaved obedient children, Roman and Sarabeth.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Some called it the common tendency of a second child, and some others just called her the bad apple. Sarabeth was much more reckless and rebellious as opposed to her brother. What about the children's well-behaved reputation, you might ask? Well, one would just be as obedient if they are threatened with physical punishments for disgraceful things a young girl should not be doing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀It was on her 18th birthday in 1955 when Sarabeth declared that since she is now an adult, she wanted to move away and be on her own, take it as her birthday present. She also told herself that if her parents wouldn't let her to do so, she would be ending her own life because she is now in charge of her life choices, and she didn't want to just stay there for the rest of her life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Sure enough, her parents obviously denied her request, and that's what brought Sarabeth to stand on a stool under an old walnut tree behind their house. Earlier that night, she snuck out from her bedroom window with a cattle rope that she managed to grab from the ranch. She set a fixed noose on the biggest branch of the tree, and with a deep inhale, she closed her eyes and jumped.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Nothing. Just silence and void. Sarabeth had her minutes of peace until she suddenly pried her eyes open as she gasped for air and eventually dropping down to the ground. She is alive and she is now seeing her surrounding with an overwhelmingly enhanced vision and senses. "What the fuck just happened?"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀As if on cue, her parents immediately came out of the house to approach her with a flashlight and a blanket. Her dad explained that she experienced the resurrection, just like their Lord and Savior, and that she should immediately thank Jesus Christ and his angels for granting her a redemption to atone for her past mistakes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀In addition to the blanket, her parents revealed two more items that they brought for her. A small brass goblet that resembles a chalice, and a folding knife. Sarabeth flinched when her dad made an incision on her mom's hand, drops of blood are now filling the small cup and her mom insisted that a good daughter should take what her mother has provided. She was adamant about not wanting to do it, but as soon as the scent hit her senses, Sarabeth lost herself to a great urge that is unlike any other human desires. And for the first time in her life, her dad patted herself on the head and told her that he is really proud of her.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀It was a lot to take in, but suddenly everything makes sense. How her slightly fractured neck healed in hours, how her father literally did not age, how tending the farm and ranch in the morning was a duty for her and her brother, and how their family only attend Mass after the sun sets.
Rising Action
Series of Events
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The small family lived a thriving life on their secluded farmland for years. They learned to feed off people with no homes, lone hikers, lost immigrants, and sometimes cattle. Everything went well on their end until the sudden bloom of strange occurrences in the state of Utah was reported during the 70s. People lost their mind over things like the unexplainable cattle mutilation and sightings of bulletproof monsters, and with that, they decided that it might be a good time to move away from Uintah before someone connects the dots and ultimately point their finger at the Magnussons.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Sarabeth has always wanted to live on her own ever since she was a teenager, and the media coverage threat finally gave her a green light to live far away from her hometown. She wound up in another state that is not that far away from where she was, but Kootenai county in northwestern Idaho captured her heart in an instant, and she never imagined that the place turned out to be where she met a person she loved so dearly either.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Her love life has always been rocky. There were literal freaks, people that are way too religious to even touch hands, republicans who were taught to beat their future wives, and more. But a night stroll down the streets of the county changed everything. She met Yemima, a young lady on her early 20s who worked the night shift of her family's convenience store business because she had to study during the days. Needless to say, it was pretty much love at the first sight.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Yemima was not like any other people she ever dated previously. Years into the relationship, she just knew that the sparkly eyed woman won't even flinch if Sarabeth were to reveal her true self to her. And she was right, there were a slight pause like how any other sane human being would react, but Yemima even grew to be protective of Sarabeth's safety and needs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀On the years that followed, it dawned on her that Yemima's unconditional love is not a good thing for someone like her. They were lying down next to each other on a hospital bed, so close she can see fine lines gracing the pretty visage of her partner. Yemima's wrinkled outer corners of eyes creasing up with a smile upon looking back at Sarabeth's ever changing youth. Matching diamond rings grazing on one another as their fingers intertwined. "I am truly blessed to know you, I love you." was her last words. Yemima died two days after Christmas at the age of 48 to an undiagnosed chronic illness.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀For the first time, Sarabeth despised her life after turning and how her belief has lead her to this. The next day after the funeral, she grabbed the front door's handle with shaky hands as rays of sunlight starting to peer through the closed curtains, but she ended up dropping down to her knees crying, recalling how the deceased really hated it when Sarabeth had to risk small sun blisters if she had to help Yemima with daytime chores. She would not be happy to see Sarabeth burning herself to death, and for this very reason, Sarabeth endured the pain to continue living another years with this thin line between a blessing and a curse.
Now Airing
Current Life
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Walking away from the lakes and mountains of Idaho, she moved here and there in an attempt to start over. From the icy cold Alaska to the hot and damp Florida, nothing quite makes her feel home as much as how it was in Idaho, a place that she avoids at all cost for how a painful memory will haunt her on every corners of the state.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀She tried to put herself out there for new people in her life too, but seems like the rocky path is after her again. There were a handful of good late night summer flings and short relationships, but there were also wild love stories like how she dated a married drug cartel leader or how that one time her fiancé died of choking. Oh, the things you witnessed when you live forever.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Sarabeth made a decision to actually try to live in another country as opposed to just travelling there for a month top, and the decision lead her to reside in England now, where she reconnected with both her brother and her distant family members. She lives in a detached Victorian house with Roman, and they are now running their family business of a mortuary. Sarabeth also maintains the remote job that she started back in 2020. She had to adjust with the warmer weather of Clifton, but she experienced worse for the slight inconvenience to bother her, and so far, she likes it here.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Thanks to the old house, she wouldn't have to do a daily chore of politely smiling to a neighbor here. What a bliss! Feeding is not a problem either, have you heard the news that homelessness in Bristol tripled during pandemic?

Character Development Plan
- Psalm 91:11
"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." With the passage in mind, Sarabeth believes that the presence of an angel will be around to guide and protect her on each time she travels around or moves to a new city. And an angel's presence means that there'll be more of her kind in that area for her to rejoice with.
- Is It Her...?
Do you believe in reincarnation? Sarabeth didn't until she met a girl from Bristol. A girl that resembles her long gone soulmate so much that it cannot just be a mere coincidence. Who is she?More goals will be added periodically as her real-time development grows.

Scribbles On The Script

“An effort to get in touch with our essential self is an endless stream of thought.”
Preface,
- I'm referencing my vampire morphology, origin, and overall logic to a Netflix show Midnight Mass (2021) by Mike Flanagan.
- Depiction of a mythological character will differ from one writer to another. How I portray a vampire is based on my own depiction with the reference I mentioned above, so don't @ me for how my vampire is not written like Bram Stoker's or The Twilight Saga.

Warnings,
- Some of my writing might involve implication of graphic activities. If you are sensitive about those topics, please do not proceed to read my writings tagged with TW (trigger warning).
- I don't really use strong language (blunt mention of profanities, or a very raw, unfiltered choice of words that might be considered taboo or offensive to some) for timeline plots. So even after tagging my writings with TW, everything will most likely be subtle. I understand that some people might still be uncomfortable with it, so please, suit yourself, I gave you a warning.
- If you don't like the topic and/or image I'm presenting through my character, you have free choices of either A) not following me (duh), B) muting me if you still want to be mutuals, and C) soft-blocking me if you happened to follow me already.
- Speaking of soft-blocking, please do so instead of just unfollowing me. If you don't feel like seeing me on timeline anymore, then I do too, sweetie.

⠀
Plot Preferences,
- I only do plots in English. I speak Bahasa Indonesia too, however I am not really confident about plotting in Bahasa Indonesia. So as for now, I only offer myself for English plots.
- The time setting my character is in is very flexible. I can be plotting as past and future Sarabeth according to the occasions or anyone's request.
- Do not godmod my character, unless we came to an agreement to do so.
- I prefer timeline plots.
- Feel free to fetch me plot prompts and/or ideas if you want us to develop them together.
- If needed, we could discuss the prompts and/or ideas further either through mention or direct message before starting them.
- I totally understand that some people need a certain mood and timing to finish a plot or two. I do too. That being said, please don't force yourself to finish our plots if you aren't feeling it yet. Get back to it whenever you feel like it, you can even choose to end it even though it's unfinished. No rushing or anything.
